AMW Armament was built on a foundation of precision, accountability, and doing the job the right way — values shaped long before the doors ever opened.

From Aerospace to Precision Machining

Our founder began his career in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Metals Technician, where he developed a strong background in precision machining, welding, and metal fabrication in an environment where tolerances, safety, and consistency were non-negotiable. Working on aircraft components instilled a mindset that still drives our work today: measure twice, cut once, and do it correctly the first time.

AMW Armament is proudly veteran-owned, and that attention to detail and process discipline remains central to how we operate.

Manufacturing & Teaching the Trade

After leaving the Air Force, he became a partner in a family-owned manufacturing company, gaining hands-on experience with production machining, quality control, and real-world manufacturing demands.

That experience eventually led to education, where he spent five years as a full-time instructor teaching Precision Machining and CNC Programming at a local technology center. Training future machinists reinforced a methodical, process-driven approach to machining — one that emphasizes consistency, accuracy, and doing work correctly the first time.

Service, Responsibility, and Shared Experience

Following his time in education, he served briefly as a police officer with a local municipality, further reinforcing the importance of responsibility, trust, and equipment that performs as intended.

AMW Armament is supported by a small team and family members whose backgrounds span military service, law enforcement, manufacturing, and public service. While each person brings a different perspective, the common thread is an understanding of precision, accountability, and the real-world consequences of work done improperly. That combined experience influences everything from how jobs are quoted to how final work is inspected before it leaves the shop.

Today, AMW Armament brings together experience from aerospace, manufacturing, education, and public service into one operation — a precision machine shop and firearms services company focused on quality workmanship, straightforward processes, and honest pricing.

From barrel porting and threading to optic cuts, suppressor repair, and NFA services, all work is performed in-house. We don’t outsource critical steps, we don’t cut corners, and we don’t overcomplicate the process for our customers.
